The MacArthur Memorial photo collection provides an unparalleled
view into the life and times of General Douglas MacArthur. Comprised
of over 60,000 photo images and 130 photo albums, the collection

In the MacArthur Memorial's rare photo collection
are some 30,000 images of the American occupation of Japan.
This special collection of photo images by Dimitri Boria
recaptures the mood of Japan during the occupation period
in color photography. Of special interest to researchers
are images of the Emperor and Imperial family. |
The photographic holdings are open to researchers of all ages.
The General Douglas MacArthur Foundation provides photo duplication
for a nominal cost for all photographs that are not restricted
by copyright.
